Travelled to Huntsville!

We, the Haliburton Eco Team found ourselves travelling to Huntsville.
Why you ask?
Well, their Eco Team was hosting their very own Eco Film Festival!
How cool is that?
We plan on following their example and hosting our very own right here in Haliburton!

Got Composting?

Got an apple core? Compost it.
Peel an orange and have all those citrus rinds? Compost them.
Don't know what you can and cannot compost? Ask us.

The Eco team has been in Hal High for a while, and ever since we've started up, we have what's called a composting program.
It's where you can put your leftover compost from your lunches and we use it to fertilize soil!
Instead of throwing away and wasting it, drop it off in the bucket.

Exam Week Electronics

I bet you didn't know that near the end of exams this year we, the amazing Eco Team, took it upon ourselves to hold a drive for old electronics!
We can't have them disposed of improperly, can we?

When you're going to throw your old cellphone, or iPod away, make sure you look up about how to do it properly. It doesn't take long, and the smallest things make an impact.

Only you can make a change: recycle your old technology.
